Description
In the weaving workshop I visit most often they occasionally weave a pattern I call “Gila” (crazy).
They use up extra yarns or those that have have mistakes and they weave the weft (horizontal) without regard to the previously complex tied and dyed pattern. This creates an abstract vertical pattern that varies along the length of the sarong. I love these and buy them when I find them.
They are sarong size but also great for a table, or foot of a bed, or on the back of a chair or even hung like art.
